This figure is missing from [Gordon 1906]. The method below is a reconstruction based on similar figures in [Jenness 1924] and [K. Haddon 1930].
1. Opening C.
2. Pass right thumb over left thumb-index string from above, and hook it to the right. Release left thumb. Then pass left thumb over right thumb-index string from above, and hook it to the left. Release right thumb from its original loop, but not its new loop. If ring finger are holding down any loops, release them now.
3. Pass thumbs away from you between palms and index-little-finger strings, below the loops that hook around the index-little-finger strings. Point thumbs toward each other, and pull index-little-finger strings through original thumb loops (which slip off). Release little fingers.
"Kidneys" is a continuation of "Sealskin Carrying-bag."
4. Release indexes. Hold thumb loops between thumbs and index fingers, and gently separate the hands. Some shaking or manual assistance may be necessary to separate the two kidneys from each other.
