Canoe

1. Pick up loop on thumbs.

2. Pass right little finger over left thumb loop, and into left thumb loop from the near side and below, and pick up left near thumb string. Without separating hands, pass left little finger over right thumb loop, and into right thumb loop from the near side and below, and pick up right near thumb string. Separate hands.

3. Insert thumbs into little finger loops from below, and return with near little finger strings.

4. Insert indexes from below into thumb loops, and return with far thumb strings (not the palmar strings).

5. Caroline extension.

6. With teeth, pick up the near thumb string that goes straight from thumb to thumb, and lift it off both thumbs, dropping it between thumbs and indexes.

7. Release little finger loops.

8. A straight string passes from left to right across the middle of the figure. Hook little fingers over this string (near its outer ends), and clasp to palm.
