Strictly a Spear, but Commonly a Kangaroo Speared

This figure is essentially the same as Scissors, but made in a slightly odd manner. This method is my own reconstruction.

1. Position 1 on left hand only.

2. Pass right hand to the left through the long hanging loop, and then away from you, around the far side of the left hand, and with the right thumb and index, grab the string on the back of the left thumb. Draw it back through the long hanging loop and to the right, until all the slack is absorbed, and drop.

3. Insert right index and little finger away from you between upper and lower strings of long hanging loop. Then insert right index from below into left wrist loop, and hook it over the string at the back of the left wrist. At the same time insert right little finger from above into left index-middle-ring-finger loop, and hook it over the string at the back of the fingers. Pull the two hooked strings back to the right, through the long hanging loop, until most of the slack is absorbed.
